The Risher Companies (TRC) is a privately held, company established in 1994 by Randy S. Risher. TRC is a full-service health and fitness firm that provides management and staffing for master-planned communities, corporate users, developers, building owners, and multi-family properties. TRC currently manages facilities in Houston as well as properties in Arizona. Additional services include consulting, design, and equipment procurement.
TRC employs a top-notch staff of fitness professionals which includes fitness directors, group instructors, and personal trainers. The selected management team promotes usage of each facility by developing a specific plan based on the individual needs of the client. TRC professionals also develop tailored corporate health and wellness programs to assist employers with events promoting a healthy workplace and active lifestyle.
TRC provides consulting on design and development for all key fitness center elements including strategic planning, space planning, equipment allocation/layout, room size, locker and shower counts for peak usage, towel and amenity services, key operating budget assumptions, and fitness center operations. TRC advises on equipment specification and selection of strength, cardio, and group exercise equipment, procurement (lease and purchase solutions), A/V systems, and flooring. TRC has consulted and designed over 1.9 million square feet of fitness centers.
TRC distributes over 20 commercial brands of fitness equipment. Exclusively, TRC represents Matrix, Woodway, Stages Cycling, Octane, and FreeMotion Fitness. TRC is a top 10 national distributor for each. Preventative maintenance and on-going services are also provided.
